One of the newest sites on the iPoker Network, Winner.com offers a bevy of promotions and features plenty of action at all hours of the day. Like other iPoker Network rooms, Winner.com does not accept real money wagers from the United States. About Winner Poker

Winner.com is a growing site on the popular iPoker Network, a family of rooms featuring software developed by the publicly traded company Playtech. Winner.com offers a functional Flash-based client that has many of the bells and whistles of its Windows counterpart. This allows Mac players to fire up its virtual felts in just a few seconds using popular browsers like Firefox and Safari. Up to 12 tables can be opened up in a browser at one time, although your screen can become quite crowded.

Tournaments

Tournaments are a bit more difficult to find in the Instant Play lobby, as you have to search for them in order to see what’s on the docket on Winner Poker. You can sort the lobby by a tournament’s name, type, buy-in, start time, number of players, and status. When we fired up Winner.com, there were 658 tournaments running, not a small total by any means for an evening in Europe.

Every Sunday, the iPoker Network runs its marquee $200,000 Guaranteed, a $320 buy-in tournament that offers satellites starting at $4.40. The event kicks off at 19:00 GMT+1 each weekend and attracts some of the top players that Europe has to offer. By industry standards, the $200,000 Guaranteed offers a smaller prize pool than other Sunday Majors, but it nevertheless dishes out a five-figure top prize.

Cash Games

Perhaps the only drawback to the iPoker Network and Winner.com is its lack of high-stakes cash games. Tables up to €500/€1,000 No Limit Hold’em are available, but the largest one with a player seated at it when we looked was €50/€100. A total of 15,700 players were logged in at the time of writing and the iPoker Network typically sees an average of 3,000 cash game players.

Despite the lack of action at the higher stakes, low- and mid-stakes players will feel right at home on Winner Poker. The site spreads Texas Hold’em, Omaha High, Omaha High-Low, Five Card Stud, and Seven Card Stud, so you’re sure to find a game that suits your budget and bankroll at nearly any time of the day. Plus, you don’t have to download anything!

Promotions

The iPoker Network sends its players to some of the largest live tournaments on the face of the Earth, including the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas as well as European events like the Irish Winter Open. You’ll see players at tournaments around the world donning the patches of iPoker sites like Titan Poker and Chili Poker, and you’ll be playing right alongside them on Winner.com.

Winner.com also offers a wealth of promotions geared towards repeat play like Sit and Go Jackpots and Sit and Go Challenges. The former encourages repeat wins in sit and gos of varying stakes, while the latter is a leaderboard competition that ranks players by the number of sit and go victories. The iPoker Network also offers a Bad Beat Bonus to players whose quad kings or better go down in flames. The Bad Beat Bonus is only open to real money Texas Hold’em ring game players.

Live Poker Events

The Ongame Network sends its players to major live tournaments around the world. Win your way into high-stakes contests like the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas, the Swedish Championship, the Helsinki Midnight Sun tournament, and the Asian Poker Tour’s Macau stop. Visit the RedKings tournament lobby through Instant Play to see what brick-and-mortar tournaments are on the horizon. Satellite options start as low as a couple of dollars, so no matter what your bankroll is, you’re sure to find a route that suits your fancy and budget.

Overall

The Winner.com Flash-based Instant Play client is one of the more fully functional versions we’ve seen. Just ensure that the latest version of Flash is installed on your computer before firing up the felts. Winner.com has a very clean table look reminiscent of sites like UB.com and Carbon Poker. If you’re from outside of the United States, Winner Poker provides an excellent way to play on the popular iPoker Network.
