Sit and Go Madness Returns to Full Tilt Poker

Full Tilt Poker, the second largest poker room in the world that offers a Mac compatible software client, announced that its popular Sit & Go Madness promotion is back. The newest installment will run from June 19th to June 21st. The promotion rewards hardcore grinders of these tournaments at all buy-ins a chance to earn their share of over $125,000 in cash and prizes. All players need to do is play in their favorite single-table sit and go tournaments during the weekend and rack up points. Alternatively, any player who wins two tournaments during the 48 hour period will receive a ticket to the $50,000 Madness Freeroll, meaning the promotion offers up $175,000 for a weekend’s worth of action.
In order to participate in the promotion, players will need to sign up for tables that are denoted in a green font in the Full Tilt lobby. The buy-ins are grouped into four segments: Group A ($1-$2), Group B ($5-$11), Group C ($20-$33), and Group D ($50-$110). The 48 hours of the Sit & Go Madness event will be divided up into two-hour blocks of time. Results from each two-hour period are posted on a leaderboard on the Full Tilt Poker website. For the four groups during each two-hour time slot, the site will award the top seven players a cash bonus. The top prize for each group is as follows: Group A ($20), Group B ($100), Group C ($200), and Group D ($500).
On top of the two-hour blocks, there is an Overall Leaderboard competition. This leaderboard is determined by the best performance in any one of the two-hour time periods; there is no cumulative calculation. For example, if a player in Group A were to earn 100 points for a two-hour block and then play again and earn 150 points during a different two-hour time block, the 150 points will be what appears on the Overall Leaderboard. The top two players in each group’s Overall Leaderboard will win a ticket to a special $5,000 sit and go where the top three places will be paid. This freeroll takes place on June 27th at 15:05 ET.
The $50,000 Madness Freeroll will also take place on June 27th, but kicks off at 16:50 ET. Again, players can get a free ticket to this event by winning at least two sit and gos during the 48 hour event. First place for this freeroll is estimated to be $5,000, making it one of the biggest freeroll prizes in the history of Full Tilt Poker.
There’s even more good news with this promotion: the Madness Raffle. For every qualifying green sit and go a player cashes in during the promotion, they will receive one raffle ticket good for entry into a drawing. There are a ton of prizes being given away from the Full Tilt Store plus entries into Sunday tournaments. They include:

To participate in Sit & Go Madness, log onto Full Tilt Poker during the promotion’s hours. Click on the “1-Table” tab in the sit and go section of the lobby. From here, simply select the game you would like to play and those eligible for Sit & Go Madness are highlighted in green. Simply hit the “Register Now” button and you’re entered.
