Full Tilt Introduces Satellites for Poker Million and Late Night Poker

Full Tilt Poker is the second largest online poker room in the world, offering players a wide variety of ring games and tournaments for all bankrolls.  It’s also one of two online poker rooms to offer players who own a Mac with OS X installed fully-downloadable client software.  Currently, Full Tilt Poker is offering players a few unique promotions that are perfect for those of you that have the dream of becoming rich and famous.

The first promotion on Full Tilt Poker is a chance to win your way onto the popular television show “Late Night Poker,” which currently airs in the United States on Fox Sports Net.  The player that qualifies will compete for a share of more than a $1 million in prize money.  The promotion runs from May 8th to August 9th exclusively at Full Tilt Poker.  In previous seasons, poker superstars David “Devilfish” Ulliott, Simon Trumper, and Phil Hellmuth have walked away with titles.  This edition of “Late Night Poker” is available to anyone age 18 or over.

Late Night Poker has traditionally had nine episodes per season, consisting of seven heats, a semi-final, and a final.  Each episode features seven players and the winners of each event progress directly to the final. Each show is 60 minutes in length, with the final being a 90 minute episode.  Sometimes when aired on Fox Sports Net, the show is cut into multi-part 30 minute episodes.

Players can only win entry through special tournaments held on Full Tilt, with satellites qualifying players into the “Late Night Poker” Final, which will be held four times during the promotion’s lifespan.  The four qualifying events will take place on June 7th, June 21st, July 5th, and July 19th at 2:30pm ET.  Players can also buy in directly to the “Late Night Poker” Final for a $300+$22 entry fee.  “Late Night Poker” Final winners will each be given a prize package worth $12,000 that consists of a $10,000 entry and $2,000 in spending money.

Another promotion of interest to live poker players is the opportunity to win your way into the Poker Million, one of the largest and most watched live tournaments in Europe.  Players that qualify into this live event will battle it out against some of the biggest names in poker for their share of more than $1 million.

Some online poker aficionados might remember that Poker Million was previously sponsored by Ladbrokes and debuted in 2000.  Players who enter must be at least 18 years-old to be eligible for the prize package.  In previous years, the event was shown on Sky Sports and featured notable final table players such as Liam Flood, Mel Judah, Howard Lederer, Ulliott, Joe Beavers, and Boyle Poker pro Marty Smyth.

The Poker Million promotion runs from May 8th through September 27th.  Players can buy in directly to the Poker Million Final for a $500+$35 entry fee; however, satellites will be scheduled regularly.  In the Poker Million tournament, one seat is guaranteed in each final, which will be held on August 2nd, August 30th, September 6th, September 13th, September 20th, and September 27th at 4:30pm ET.  The prize package is worth $22,000, which covers Poker Million’s $20,000 buy-in and $2,000 for spending money or travel arrangements.

Currently, satellite tournaments to the Poker Million have not been posted or announced; however, players can buy in directly at this time to the deep-stacked No Limit Hold’em tournament. Visit Full Tilt Poker for more information.
