Merry Christmas to all of our readers! It’s the season to be jolly and spend oodles of money on useless gifts that your friends, family, and significant others will end up tossing a month from now. It’s also the season to spend some of those Full Tilt Points (FTPs) you’ve been racking up all year long thanks to the new Full Tilt Poker Store Holiday Giveaway, which started on December 16th and runs through January 9th.
Players should be aware that the powers that be at Full Tilt Poker will be updating the prices of certain items in the store to correspond to the changes in the FTP system implemented earlier this year. Expect merchandise like electronics and clothing to be priced higher to “accurately reflect their value,” according to the Full Tilt Poker website.
If you purchase items in either the Full Tilt Store or the Black Card Store during the promotional period, you’ll either get a free Step ticket or a cash bonus. If you spend between 7,500 to 14,999 points, you’ll get a free Step 1 ticket. If you spend between 15,000 and 39,999 points, you’ll get a Step 2 ticket. If you spend between 40,000 and 74,999 points, you’ll get a free Step 3 ticket. If you spend between 75,000 and 139,000 points, you’ll receive a $50 cash bonus. Finally, if you spend 140,000 or more points, you’ll receive a $100 cash bonus.
You can keep track of all of the items you’ve purchased during the Holiday Giveaway by clicking on the “Order History” link at the bottom of the Store.
On top of the store promotion, if you enter the special $100,000 Guarantee, it will count towards your free cash bonus or Steps tournament tickets. The $100,000 Guarantee will be played at 14:15 ET on December 26th and you can buy in for 2,000 points.
There are still two more pieces of the holiday promotion to be aware of. First, be on the lookout for special 3X Happy Hours during the holiday season to earn even more FTPs. The last major component of the promotion is a $50,000 freeroll. If you buy any item in the Full Tilt Store or Black Card Store during the giveaway, you’ll get a free ticket to the $50,000 Holiday Giveaway Freeroll, which will run at 14:15 ET on January 16th. You can also get a ticket to the freeroll by playing in the $100,000 Guarantee.
All cash bonuses and Step tournament tickets earned during the Full Tilt Store Holiday Giveaway will be credited to your account by 23:59 ET on January 11th. Cash bonuses will have to be released by earning FTPs in any real money game at Full Tilt Poker.
