Full Tilt Poker Launches Rush Week

If you’re itching to play some high-octane poker, look no further than Rush Week on Full Tilt Poker. Showcasing Rush Poker, Rush Week features cash prizes up to $250 and entries into a massive $50,000 freeroll. The best part is that Mac poker players can take advantage of Full Tilt’s downloadable Mac client, which features all of the bells and whistles of its Windows counterpart.

Rush Week began on Monday and runs through Sunday, December 5th. Text found on Full Tilt’s website explains why playing during Rush Week is a must: “Rush Week offers even more reasons to play Rush Poker. Accumulate enough Full Tilt Points by playing Rush Poker ring games, sit and gos, and tournaments during Rush Week and you could earn up to $250 in cash.” The minimum prize is $5, given to any Full Tilt Poker player who can generate 10 Full Tilt Points (FTPs) on any four days during the week. Do so on all seven days and you’ll earn $10.

Players who earn 100 FTPs on any four days during Rush Week will see a $25 cash prize come their way. If they’re able to do so on all seven days during the promotion, then Full Tilt will double their prize to $50. Finally, players who amass 1,000 FTPs on any four days during Rush Week will receive a cash bonus of $125. Anyone who can rack up 1,000 FTPs on all seven days will bank $250. You’ll receive the largest cash prize you qualify for, and it’ll be just in time for the holidays.

If you make the final table of any Rush Poker tournament or sit and go during Rush Week, then you’re in for a treat. You’ll be automatically qualified for a high-stakes $50,000 Rush Week Freeroll, which runs on December 12th at 15:15 ET, seven days after Rush Week comes to a close. There are plenty of chances to lay claim to a Rush Week final table appearance, so visit the Full Tilt Poker lobby for more details.

You must opt into Rush Week in order to participate. To do so, open up the Full Tilt client and click on “Cashier.” Then, click on “My Promotions” and choose “Rush Week.” Opt in and you’ll be eligible to grab $250 in cash along with a slice of $50,000.

Also this week, Rush Poker tournaments will see their guarantees doubled, which means there should be plenty of action at the tables. In addition, two big-time events will take on Rush Poker formats this weekend: the $80,000 Guarantee on Saturday and the Sunday Brawl. Both are weekly staples of the Full Tilt schedule and will, for one week only, become Rush Poker contests.

If you have no idea what Rush Poker is, we have you covered. Once your action in a hand is finished, you’ll be shuttled away to a brand new table. There, a new set of opponents will greet you and another hand will start. When you’re done with that hand, the process repeats. You can clock around 300 hands per hour on the Rush Poker felts. Full Tilt even offers a Mobile version of Rush Poker, although it only supports Flash-equipped phones. Consequently, players with Apple devices like iPhones and iPads are unable to play.

Test your skills at Rush Poker by hitting the felts during Rush Week. Visit Full Tilt for more information.
