iPhone 4 Pre-Sale Began June 15th
Many are licking their chops at the chance to get the new phone, which we will review right here at MacPoker.com. An AT&T memo confirms that only black models will be available at launch, with white models not available until later this summer. The iPhone 4 will come in 16 GB and 32 GB models with supply expected to be limited only to those who pre-order by June 24th when it hits store shelves. Retail partners such as Best Buy, Radio Shack, and Wal-Mart are gearing up for the launch. AT&T confirmed that company retail stores will open at 7:00am on launch day.
Apple Accepting iOS 4 Apps for Approval
Apple started accepting iOS 4 applications ahead of the June 21st release of the new operating system for iPhones and iPads. Formerly called iPhone OS, iOS4 also runs on the popular iPod Touch devices. The new version has many new features that may require modifications to existing apps for full compatibility including multitasking, folders, an improved mail application, enhanced enterprise support, iAds, and iBooks. Apple has stated that there are over 1,500 new APIs available for developers. People with iPhones and iPod Touch devices can upgrade for free on June 21st.
UB.com Prepares for the WSOP 50 Package Special on June 20th
What better way to celebrate the upcoming World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event than by playing in it!
