This week, we have some interesting news coming out of the Full Tilt Poker camp about a potential return of a popular free money promotion. On top of that, we’ll talk about the big Beatles announcement from Apple and a few other tidbits.

Holiday Hundo Coming Back to Full Tilt?

Last year, Full Tilt Poker released a free $100 bonus called the Holiday Hundo for all players in celebration of the holiday season. Rumors are circulating right now that Full Tilt Poker might be revisiting the popular promotion, although it might only be for $50.

Google Voice Appears in App Store

Google announced that the Google Voice application is now available in the App Store. With this app, you can get cheap rates for international calls, get free text messaging to U.S. numbers, utilize voicemail transcription, and display your Google Void number as caller ID when making calls. This app has been in limbo for over a year, but was finally approved by Apple back in September.

Soi Nguyen Wins an FTOPS Event

In the category of “You’ve Got to be Kidding Me”, November Niner Soi Nguyen, a true amateur whose play has come under tremendous scrutiny, took down a Hyper Turbo Rush Poker Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS) event. That’s right, Nguyen luckboxed his way to another final table and this time binked it off in a tournament with the large amount of variance.

The Beatles Come to iTunes

On Monday, the world was buzzing about a forthcoming announcement for iTunes. Many speculated that cloud features for iTunes were finally being released, but as the night progressed, rumors persisted that The Beatles were coming, and indeed they did. The entire re-mastered library is now available for purchase.

Black Card and Iron Man Revisions Coming

As posted by Full Tilt representatives, there will be revisions to the Black Card and Iron Man programs coming in January.  Since both were announced, players have been outspoken in their rage against the site’s new policies.  Many feel that Full Tilt Poker introduced the Black Card as a veil to reduce overall player benefits and rewards. Upset members are threatening to leave the site on December 31st for PokerStars to start their SuperNova quests. Players are being told that the revisions will be to their benefit. Hulu Updates Hulu Plus App and Lowers Price

The Hulu Plus app for iOS devices was updated, bringing enhancements and a new split-screen player for the iPad edition. Other new features include enhanced queue and subscription management, improved playback performance, a new thumbnail viewer on iPad, and miscellaneous bug fixes. Hulu Plus has been dropped in price to $7.99 per month and customers who signed up previously will be credited the difference.
