PartyPoker Brings Back Card Rush Promotion

Starting this week on PartyPoker, check out the site’s new and improved Card Rush Instant Win promotion. This time around, PartyPoker has upped the ante. The Card Rush XL promotion, as it’s being dubbed, will dole out 1.8 million prizes with a price tag of 15 Party Points each. All you have to do is head to the virtual felts of one of the industry’s longstanding online poker sites.

Your first card is available after you’ve amassed five Party Points. After that, you’ll receive a valuable prize for every 15 points you earn. To see what your card has waiting for you, head to your account and scratch it off. You’ll have until 24 hours after the Card Rush XL promotion ends to scratch off all of your cards. Any unscratched cards are then forfeited.

You can earn up to 50 cards in one day, or the equivalent of 750 Party Points, so there are plenty of chances to win. The top cash prize you might scratch off is $5,000, while awards of $500, $50, $5, $3, $2, and $1 are available. Some cards might reveal freeroll entries, which range in prize pool from $2,000 to $50,000. All of the freerolls will be held on PartyPoker between August 5th and 8th; check out the room’s website for the full schedule.

Other prizes include Party Points, which might otherwise take you hours of grinding to accrue. Party Point prizes range from 10 to a colossal 25,000, making the Card Rush XL promotion incredibly valuable for those who play on the site. Finally, some cards will contain Card Rush XL Race points, which are used to move you up a special leaderboard. The top 200 spots and every 20th position from 220 to 2,000 will finish in the money.

The grand prize on the Card Rush XL Race leaderboard is a $10,000 luxury travel package, which is available to the top three runners. These aren’t just your average travel packages to run-of-the-mill live tournaments, either. Instead, you’ll be jet setting your way to events like the 2010 Ryder Cup at Celtic Manor in Wales, Formula 1 Gran Premio Santander in Italy, and the Major League Baseball World Series in the United States. The top finisher on the leaderboard gets his pick of the three. Then, the player in second place will choose between the remaining once-in-a-lifetime options.

Players who don’t want to travel the globe to the Ryder Cup, Gran Premio Santander, or World Series can elect to pocket $7,500 in cash instead. Text found on PartyPoker’s website denotes another important caveat: “Any points earned over 750 points will not be counted towards the promotion and will not be carried over to the next day.” You’ll still receive PartyPoints past the 750-point threshold; however, they won’t count for the Card Rush XL promotion.

On July 18th, PartyPoker will host the next running of its Monthly Million, a high-stakes $640 buy-in tournament that guarantees a $1 million prize pool. The event traditionally takes place on the first Sunday of every month at 12:45 ET. However, PartyPoker is combining its July and August installments. No Monthly Million will take place in August and the spectacle returns to its regular schedule on September 5th.

PartyPoker does not accept players from the United States and is tied for the third largest worldwide with the iPoker Network, offering a seven-day running average of 3,600 real money ring game players. Visit PartyPoker today to get a head start in the super-sized Card Rush XL promotion.
