In January, PartyPoker is bringing back one of its simplest promotions ever, the Million Dollar Hand. Just because it’s easy to understand doesn’t mean that players don’t have a lot to cheer about, however. In fact, there’s up to $1 million on the line in the Million Dollar Hand promotion, which begins on January 5th.
Buckle up. It’s time to take you on a ride through the Million Dollar Hand. All you have to do is take a seat at one of the many real money ring game tables on PartyPoker. When you do, you’ll receive one Million Dollar Hand card for every 15 PartyPoints you amass. When you get five cards, you’ll have a poker hand, and if that hand contains a pair or better, you’ve won! That’s all there is to it. The promotion comes to a close on January 30th.
Anyone who manages to make a pair banks $3 for their troubles. Get two pair and your prize will shoot up to $10 in cash. Anyone who successfully makes three of a kind will receive a $20 prize courtesy of PartyPoker and players who are dealt straights will nab $50. Players who make flushes will receive $100 bounties and anyone who is dealt a full house will make $150.
There are a bevy of high-stakes prizes also up for grabs for players who receive better than a full house. Anyone who makes quads will get $1,000. Any PartyPoker player who is dealt a straight flush will earn a colossal $10,000 prize. Finally, Players who manage to score a royal flush will split a $1 million prize pool evenly, which means that if five players are dealt the jackpot hand, they’ll each take home $200,000. If only one player makes a royal flush during the promotion, they’ll scoop the entire $1 million prize pool.
You must reveal your cards manually by logging into your PartyPoker account and you have until the end of the day on January 31st to do so. Any unrevealed cards won’t count, so make sure to visit your PartyPoker account in time. Players can reveal a maximum of two hands per day and cash prizes will be awarded within an hour, save the royal flush payout, which will occur on February 1st.
That’s not all. For Palladium Lounge members, PartyPoker is holding a special Million Dollar Hand VIP Points Race over the same time period that awards two World Poker Tour (WPT) L.A. Poker Classic prize packages worth $14,000 each. In addition to the normal cash prizes given out as part of the Million Dollar Hand promotion, Palladium Lounge members will receive VIP Points for the race. The more points you accumulate, the higher you’ll ascend up the leaderboard.
The top two finishers when the smoke clears on January 30th will be whisked away to Los Angeles for the WPT event. Plus, the top 200 players will take away cash prizes ranging from $100 to $6,000. The top 500 Palladium Lounge players on the leaderboard will receive entry into a special Million Dollar Hand VIP Freeroll that awards another WPT L.A. Poker Classic prize package to its winner along with a mountain of cash.
